Introducing 8-way relay board Aritech is pleased to announce the release of the 8 Way Relay Board (TS1041) for the Tecom range of products. This 8-way output expander can provide an additional 8 dry contact relays to the Challenger Panel, door/lift controllers and DGPs, and is compatible with all devices which supported the previous 8 Way Relay Board (TS0841). The relay board offers improvements which allow more boards to be directly daisy chained together, eliminating relay chatter when the board is first connected and/or energised. The release of the TS1041 8 Way Relay Board supercedes the TS0841 Relay Board.Improvements TS1041 has lower latency than the TS0841, which allows more TS1041 relay cards to be connected in series without signal loss TS1041 will now wait several seconds on power-up before energising relays. This should eliminate the ‘chatter’ that was previously possible on TS0841 expanders.
