OnGuard7.2 End of Support

End of Support Reminder: OnGuard® version 7.2 and all other OnGuard v7.2 product updates

As a reminder, OnGuard® version 7.2 reached its end of support date as of February 28th, 2019. As a part of our OnGuard support policy, LenelS2 supports OnGuard versions for three years from the date of initial commercial release. As a result, LenelS2 Technical Support and Engineering are no longer supporting OnGuard version 7.2.

In order to continue support coverage for your customers, we strongly encourage all Lenel value added resellers (VARs) to review their customer list, identify systems that are running OnGuard version 7.2 or older versions, and recommend to the customer that an upgrade to a supported version be implemented as soon as feasible.

This announcement affects released products related to OnGuard version 7.2 (version 7.2.269), and any OnGuard version 7.2 product updates or hot fixes. Please refer to the table below for the complete list of versions of OnGuard Release Versions, Release Dates, and End of Support Effective Dates for each version.



OnGuard software can be upgraded to a new version as long as a valid software upgrade and support program (SUSP) agreement is in place. If a customer's system is not on a support contract, a quote can be obtained by sending an email to the Customer Service team at firesecuritycs@fs.utc.com.

For OnGuard systems that are on a support contract, a new version of the license can be requested through Customer Service.
